Fifth-generation winemakers in Camporeale, with a deep knowledge of the vine and its local varietals, have been making single-varietal wine since 2006. The estate comprises approximately 45 hectares, 10 of which are vineyards; the varietals grown are Catarratto and Grillo for the whites, and Perricone, Nero d’Avola, Lucignola, and Syrah for the reds. Today, the company is led by Rosario and Gaspare Triolo, both agronomists with a boundless passion for agriculture, passed down from their grandparents from childhood. Terre di Gratia also cares deeply about sustainability, which is applied throughout the entire supply chain, from the vineyard to bottling. Production is organic, and the new winery uses exclusively solar energy, ensuring the production of wines of the highest quality with minimal environmental impact through the use of cutting-edge technology. The same goes for packaging: the bottles used are the lightest available on the market, while some corks and labels are made in part from the recovery of pomace after vinification. “Gratia” is a Latin term that embodies the company’s values, including respect for the environment and people, but it is also a tribute to grandmother Grazia, who left the company and its values as a legacy.
