Intense colors and Mediterranean scents characterize the Marchesi de Gregorio estate, which since 1730 has tended the centuries-old vineyards and olive groves that offer the viewer a unique view of the Sicilian landscape of Contrada Sirignano, in the municipality of Monreale, a stone’s throw from the Belice Valley and listed among the Wine Cities itineraries. At the top of a hill, in the heart of the estate, stands the ancient Baglio di Sirignano, built in the second half of the 19th century, with its historic winery and the Agriturismo Sirignano Wine Resort.
Today, the estate, led by Marquis Massimo de Gregorio, extends over approximately 140 hectares, 75 of which are vineyards, and has been entirely certified organic since 2000.
